Then when I come back out to my car to leave I see this awesome AMC AMX 390 sitting next to me. I really love those AMXs, Always wanted one. Funny thing Some guy was talking to someone on the phone and saying, "I'm standing here checking out this cool Javelin." Pffft, Javelin. :P

Canadian Tire Was Hoppin' in Newmarket
Went into Canadian Tire today and I see a Hummer H1 with a Mad Max wrap to celebrate the movie release. Might be a little hard to read. Sorry.

Grabber Orange GT350
Nope. The 2016 Mustang GT350 will not be available in Grabber Orange paint but wouldn't it be nice? Maybe I'm bias.

2016 Mustang GT350 Limited Production??!?!?
When the 2015 Mustang came out I thought my Mustang days were over. I hated the new look and frankly after owning two I was ready to look for something else. Then Ford announced the 2016 Mustang GT350 & GT350 R and I suddenly became interested again. I seriously decided this was the car I was going to trade in my 2007 on. I was even in the process of moving my US address so I could more easily get a car loan in the States.
But then the rumours started to fly about limited production numbers. The GT350 to be limited to 5000 and the GT350 R limited to just 500 units. So even if you can find one for sale the dealer will have jacked to price to the high heavens. Ford has yet to confirm these rumours and my attempts lead to this quote from Ford Canada PR dude Arnolder Louis. "We'll I can't comment on that since we haven't released anything official. I'll wait and see if anything comes up."
So we shall see what happens but I'm not getting my hopes up. My girlfriend tells me I should just go buy something with two seats. She is a great girlfriend. ;)
VW Rabbit Truck
I stumbled across this leaving the gym last night. You don't see VW Rabbit trucks very often and even more rarely one that is slammed to the ground like this one. Looked pretty cool to me.

Wheelwell.com
Through watching a Matt Farah video I learned about this site called Wheelwell. Matt described it as a place to organize your car builds. I don't know that I really see it like that. To me it seems more like a car guy's Instagram or something. Regardless it's pretty cool and worth a look. I setup a garage space there and it seems a lot of other people have too.

Hummer Fixed??
As I previously mentioned my 07’ Hummer H3 has been having some idle issues. When the rig is cold the idle stutters and stumbles usually turning on the check engine light. This increases as it warms up but then once it gets to full running temperature the problem stops completely and it runs normally.
Looking at forums I was really concerned the problems were due to a bad head. Apparently the 3.7 L engines have real problems with the head. In fact speaking to the previous owner he already had the head replaced once under warranty. But rather than freak out I decided to start simple and go step by step.
I bought a code reader to figure out exactly why the check engine light was on. It said the code was P0305 which was reporting a misfire on cylinder 5. So to begin I decided to pull the spark plug on cylinder 5 and see how it looked. I pulled the ignition coil and got a wrench on the plug but it would not budge. I got a bigger wrench and tried again but no dice, it would not move. I was a little afraid I would break it off and then I’d be hosed.
Instead I thought I’d just switch the ignition coil from number 5 with the one on 4. If the error moved to cylinder 4 then I would know it was the ignition coil causing the problem. But to my surprise after the switch the problem disappeared. No stumbling, no check engine light, nothing but a smooth running engine.
I’m a little baffled by this but I’m not going to complain. As long as it’s happy then I’m happy. I’ll take what I can get.

As Speculated Ford Reveals the GT350R
Ford folks denied that there was going to be an R version of the recently announced Mustang GT350 but today it was revealed. So basically it means everyone that was planning to get a GT350 is not planning to get a GT350R. Why not just make the GT350 with the R parts and just call it the GT350? Because this goes to 11. :P
